        Product description

Champions in both 1950 and 1952, Juventus narrowly failed to add a third Serie A title in four years in the 1952-53 season and had to be content with finishing two points adrift of Inter in second place. This was a hugely entertaining and free-scoring team however, one powered by Danish stars and capably coached by the Hungarian Gyorgy Sarosi. John Hansen was the team’s 19 goal top scorer in attack where he played with distinction alongside 16 goal Italian international Pasquale Vivolo, club legend Giampiero Boniperti and compatriot Karl Aage Praest. Highlights of the campaign included 8-0 and 5-0 home victories over Fiorentina and Lazio respectively and 6-0 away at Novara.
